Cristjen’s Table

An intimate table for six.

At Your Table — a private chef experience at home >

A table for six.

Cristjen's Table is an intimate Japanese dining experience shaped by the seasons, the tableware, and the quiet rituals of sharing a meal.

Each evening unfolds slowly through a multi-course menu, prepared and served personally by Cristjen.

The food draws from Japanese home cooking and kaiseki traditions — thoughtful rather than formal, with attention given not only to what is served, but how it is served, the vessel it arrives in, and the moment around it.

The evenings

Six courses · €95 per guest
An introduction to Cristjen’s Table through six seasonal courses, with a course from the grill at its heart.

Eight courses · €125 per guest

Menus change with the seasons and availability of ingredients.

One table, one menu

Cristjen's Table is a shared dining experience.

The first reservation of the evening chooses the Six Course (€95) or Eight Course (€125) menu, which is then shared by the entire table.

For a private table of six, either experience may be chosen.

The menu follows the seasons, with one constant:

our signature wanmono -
Kaiseki no Umi

A bowl that returns at every table.

The rhythm of dinner

Each evening unfolds one course at a time.

The menu changes with the seasons, as does the composition of each evening. Whether six courses or eight, the meal follows the same quiet rhythm — beginning with something small and ending with rice, something sweet, and tea.

At the table

The table is composed anew for each evening.

Ceramics and objects are chosen for each course — guided by the season, the food, and the character of each piece. Some belong together; others simply find their place beside one another.

No two tables are quite the same.

An evening at the atelier

The evening begins quietly.

A drink on arrival, the table already set, and the first course prepared as you settle in.

From there, there is no rush. Courses arrive one by one, the table changes with them, and the evening finds its own rhythm.

Come hungry. Stay awhile.

Upcoming tables

A small number of evenings are opened each month, with six places around the table.

Reserve one to five individual places, or gather six and make the evening entirely your own.

Until then, a little mystery remains.
